Trekpay Review - Update

This is just an update of my prior Trekpay review.  I think what I didn't talk about though the last time is whether or not the site is a scam or is legit.  All the stuff I've read about Trekpay indicates that it's legit.  I'll probably reach payout by next month so I can validate it first hand.  In order for you to get paid, you must reach $5.50 and you need a Paypal account.  Payment days are from Tuesdays to Thursdays; frequency is once a week (assuming you reach payout every week).

Work from Home Opportunities / Make Money On-line Reviews 4

Reviews: So so for iNVITE5; Thumbs Up for Palmbux

Alright, it's that time of the week again.  After doing updated reviews for Neobux, Mylot and Paid2YouTube,  Trekpay, Tazoodle and Clicksense, today I will write about iNVITE5 and Palmbux.   If you'd like to check out the original paid to click write-ups, you'll find them here.  Once again, participating in these sites assumes that you already have a Paypal Account and / or Alertpay Account.

I started trying this when I opened my Neobux account.  However, I didn't find the site all that intuitive.  It has a good concept though.  You don't have to go to a site everyday to start clicking.  Instead, you install a toolbar.  If you click on the Ads button, it will open your window in the left side (like favorites or history).  There, you will find the URL to click.   In terms of convenience, I have to score it lower than the BUX layout.  Why?  Once you click on an ad, you generally have to close the window, surf to another site and then reopen before you find another ad.  So it requires some patience.

In terms of earnings, it's a little weak.  Compared to Palmbux, which I started much later, the latter's earnings have already overtaken that of iNVITE5.  However, it seems like iNVITE5's earnings potential could be much better if you have lots of active referrals.  It credits referrals to the 5th level which is good, but although I have referrals, it has not reflected notably in my earnings.  Rating: Legit but a slow earner.  You decide.

Work from Home Opportunities / Make Money On-line Reviews 3

Reviews: So so for Clicksense; Thumbs Up for Tazoodle

As requested, I'm doing an update on the work-from-home opportunities that I'm trying out.  At the bottom of this post, you'll see the links to the past write-ups.    Just as a reminder though, before you sign up with any of these sites, do make sure you have a Paypal Account and / or an Alertpay Account.

Alright, Clicksense doesn't have the BUX look so if you've done Neobux, Palmbux or Upbux, this would seem a little different.  However, the concept is the same.  You're also paid to click and view ads.  While I have read some write-ups about people getting paid by Clicksense, I'm personally not sure.  So I won't comment on that.  I also have not seen glowing write-ups about this one.   The upside is that the website has a PR4 ranking from Google which lends the company some legitimacy (if you're a Google believer).

I will say this though.  You just get one to two clicks per day.  Earnings wise, it's about 1/4 to 1/5 of Neobux or Trekpay.  So it's really up to you if you think it's worth your time.  If you've got an insane number of free hours just for clicking, then you don't really lose anything.  Or if you've got a surefire way of getting referrals, then that's different matter (if you do have that surefire way, tell me about it please).   Up to you if you want to sign up.

Work from Home Opportunities / Make Money On-line 2

Paid2YouTube - Scam Rating, Thumbs Up for Neobux and Mylot

Paid2YouTube

Just an update everyone.  In my past post regarding earning on-line opportunities, Paid2YouTube was one of sites I said I was trying out.  Well as of today, I'm officially dropping it from my list.  For the past week or so, it has had zero (0) earning opportunities (no videos to watch).  I suspect that site will close soon.  Don't sign up for it.

My Trekpay Experience and Being a Snitch

As you may know, Trekpay is one of the Paid To Click (PTC) sites that I'm trying out. If you're not familiar with the concept, basically there are advertisers (website owners) that pay Trekpay and other PTC sites to advertise their site. How do these PTC sites entice consumers or Internet surfers? Well, every time you view the ads, you get paid a small amount (cents). This encourages surfers to check out the sites. Now, granted a lot of us just click on the site and forget it, a small percentage will actually view the site contents. I know because that's my exact behavior. I assume that behavior has been factored in to the pricing already.

Trekpay offers about 10 advertisements per day. And that's a good steady number. Other PTC sites run out of ads. This tells me that Trekpay is fairly popular. In Trekpay though, the ads have instructional text. For example, if I advertised Mental Notes, I can leave instructions like, "to get credited for this ad, please leave a good comment in any post." Well and good right?

Work from Home Opportunities / Make Money On-line

These are the ones I'm trying out. I will provide regular feedback about how I'm doing. Perhaps it will help you as well. Try them out too and let me know how well it's been working out for you.

But before you check any of those programs out, you must have a means of getting.  That's the bottom line here, right?  Make sure you have a Paypal and an Alertpay account.

Get Paid to Participate in Discussions in MYLOT - Mylot is a general forum.  You earn money by participating in various fora.  The rates are not published.  Your earnings are determined by an algorithm.  As far as we can tell, both length and quality of posts have a bearing.  Among the various opportunities, this is probably one of the most enjoyable.

NEOBUX - The most well known of all PTC sites. You basically get 4 ads to view per day.  There are options like renting referrals and upgrading your membership to get more clicks. I've seen people getting paid by Neobux in many forums and threads.

TREKPAY - Earns the same way as Neobux.  Among the PTCs, this generally has the most advertisers.  That means more clicks for you.  However, the earnings are pretty much in line with the others.

iNVITE5 - This is a paid to click (PTC) site.  Unlike the others, this requires a toolbar download and you can view ads anytime you want.  The concept is nice although I find the ads a little limited.

PAID MAILZ - It's your basic PTC although once in the site you click on an ad banner.  Quite different in that respect from Neobux.  The earnings so far for this have been limited, but it adds up too.
PaidMailz

PALMBUX - This is one of the Neobux copycats.  Basically everything with a "bux" that I've seen looks like Neobux with a different color.   As long as it pays like Neobux, right?

PAID2YOUTUBE - You get paid to watch videos.  Recently became a little more high tech and now has timers in the ads.

CLICKSENSE - Your basic PTC site.  I've seen some reviews of people getting paid, although I personally find the ads limited.

UPBUX - It's one of the Neobux copycats.  You've seen one, you've seen them all.

TAZOODLE - It's a search engine with a twist. Basically, you do your searches and there will be ads displayed (just like Google or Yahoo). However, when you do check out the ads, you will get a share of the ad revenue. You are allowed to check out 20 ads per day and you tend to get more here than other paid to click (PTC) sites.

It's worth a look.

Make sure you create an Alertpay account so you'll get paid.
