FRIDAYS on SHABEARDAY
So Rena and I had our Fish & Chips moment in Fridays Galleria. It was one of those giving way days (because I had Chicken Bacolod in mind of course). It turns out, the fish made her mouth itch all over. Being the outspoken girl that she is, she politely told the waiter so. In contrast, I probably would've just eaten it and ripped the restaurant in my blog or steal some a menu.
Well, it turns out Chad the Manager was informed and he promptly offered to replace it. Nice guy. Eventually we settled for some brownie dessert. It was good. A bit sweet for my test, but heck, it was on the house. Now this Chad happened to offer us free Fish & Chips at any time we're back in the place. Rena let go of a guttural laugh afterwards because she knew that she was going to call that offer someday.
Later that night it made me think about profitability and business ethics. Goodwill, although hard to compute, has value after all.

Wrestling Moves
The find that the finishing moves of Randy Orton and Shawn Michaels are inefficient. Both of them egg on their opponents to get up before hitting them with the respective RKO and Sweet Chin Music. Why would you do that? If it were me, I'm guessing that as soon as my opponent is down, I'll do a hundred leg drops at the back of his head. It's boring, yes, but it'll also probably injure my opponent's neck.
I guess in this respect, I would like Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle because both of them go for the kill early and often.
There are also a couple of moves that I wonder why I don't see a lot. For example, why doesn't Triple H go for all the leg breaking maneuvers all the time? I'd say go for the Figure Four as often as he tries to go for The Pedigree (which takes a long time to set up). I think Mick Foley has this sitting down Pile Driver. That should hurt. I suppose almost all slams take an equal amount of strength to perform. I'd go for the Brain Buster each time. I'd also go for the DDT with every head lock. As you can see, I'm fairly biased towards the head and neck moves. I'd even add Shawn Michaels' superkick, but it should be done in the heat of battle.
Next time I'll talk about my biases for wrestlers with a lot of moves.

WRESTLEMANIA PATTERN
It took me a while to figure it out. So the road to Wrestlemania begins at the Royal Rumble. We need to check out the last two competitors. The winner will challenge a champion of his choice and will win (Ex. Rey Mysterio and The Undertaker). The last man eliminated will get to challenge a champion but will lose (Ex. Triple H and Shawn Michaels). Another upcoming pattern is that the Money in the Bank winner eventually wins the title (Ex. Edge and Rob Van Dam).
Then again, who cares? As long as there are chair shots, sledgehammer hits and blood everywhere, I'll watch it over and over again.
